In some instances, a client or market might want the Hub to recreate and/or build-out an existing design. Here is a checklist of things we will need to accomplish the request:

Please make it a habit to let the client know these needs when you find out they are designing or providing designs to our team. You should always request that they provide the Native Files or a folder that contains the pieces they used to create the design.

Native files

This can be an .AI (Adobe Illustrator) file, a .PDF that has not been flattened, or a .PSD (Adobe Photoshop) file. We cannot pull assets from .png, .gif or .jpg files as they are flat images.

Why Native Files?

Any format that contains a flat image (non-editable) makes it extremely hard for us to move and control elements, which is the most important part of creating the additional requested sizes.

The editable files mentioned above helps the creative team get a head start and take less time to complete the request. We want to make sure everything is streamlined so you can get your creative back as soon as possible.

Fonts, Images, and Logo

Please let the Client know that we will need all linked content. Often times, a proper native file is provided, only for us to open it up and find that fonts, images, and the logo are not embedded into the file and they are missing.

Since they produced the design, they should be able to send the assets used to create it (photo, text, logos, fonts). This will help us be able to recreate the design to fit the different formats the client needs.

What if they can't provide the Native file or the images/fonts to create it?

In the case that the client does not have any native files, our next step is to create a similar ad based on the previous version. We cannot perfectly recreate it, as we do not have the same assets, but will do our best to make it look as close as possible. Please note that this process usually takes much longer than a standard build out and will use more of your client’s hours.
